About Me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience, Dr. Adina Silvestri is passionate about empowering individuals to overcome challenges and reclaim their lives. Specializing in addiction recovery, eating disorders, and alternative healing approaches such as Hypnotherapy, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems, Dr. Silvestri offers a holistic approach to mental health and wellness.


Dr. Silvestri is also the founder of Writing Bravely: A Course for Using Writing as a Coping Mechanism, a unique program designed to help individuals process trauma and cultivate resilience through expressive writing. She is a firm believer in the transformative power of storytelling, and her work encourages others to explore their emotions and experiences through the written word.


Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Silvestri is an accomplished educator, speaker, and author. She teaches future counselors, supervises counselors-in-training, and actively participates in community development through leadership roles and volunteer work.
